Redness and Rosacea
Redness and Rosacea refer to a condition in which the skin on the face becomes red and inflamed, often accompanied by bumps or pimples. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that typically affects middle-aged adults, and is characterised by redness and inflammation on the nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. It can also cause swollen, red bumps or pimples, and in severe cases, thickened skin and visible blood vessels. While the exact cause of rosacea is unknown, it is believed to be related to a combination of genetic and environmental factors. There is no cure for rosacea, but treatment can help manage symptoms and prevent flare-ups.
